What’s It Gonna Be?

If you haven’t guessed by now, I spend a lot of time on YouTube and Funnyordie.com. I can’t get enough of these sites and finding hilarious stuff people come up with. I want to share something with you I came across a few months back. I find myself going back to it every now and then just to chuckle.

This video features Dr. Ken who played the hilarious Asian doctor in Knocked Up. If you haven’t seen his outtake from the movie you’re missing out on the best part of the movie. Anyway, Dr. Ken teamed up with Mike O’Connell to make this awesome music video.

Hitting the big time

Our short film Socially premiered yesterday at the Dobie theater. It was a pretty fun experience screening the movie on a big screen. The film was the third of fourth from the last film. Afterwards, All of the directors got up for a Q&A. That was pretty awesome. I just wish there were more questions. Because of the requests from people I went ahead and put the film on YouTube. Andrea wants to adjust some things before putting on YouTube so it looks better. No matter what you do the quality on YouTube is crap. So I went ahead and put the final product up and it looks pretty good. So without further ado, I present Socially.

Pansy Alert

I’ve been meaning to blog a lot more. I even had some things I wanted to blog about. Then the the moment passes and I’m like ugh…nevermind.

Almost two weeks after my head first dive into the dirt, my neck is still killing me. By the end of most days, my head feels like it weighs 50 pounds and the shoulders are killing me. I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to get my vagina checked out so I think I will mention the neck issues. I want to make sure nothing is fractured or damaged. If I don’t catch it now then I may turn my head to say what’s up and next thing I go limp. HA! I said limp. Anyway.

Moved the blog

I have moved the SirRobbieRob.com blog off of my own server to blogger.com. I was getting tired of wordpress and trying to keeps things up to date. So what better thing to do then move over to blogger.com where they do everything. All I have to worry about it posting. Boo Yah. Going to http://www.sirrobbierob.com still works, so keep using it.

I feel so shitty right now.

I wrote a script for a film class I’m taking with Andrea. The idea is to write a script and make it. Then we will premiere it on April 26. The script I wrote is about a socially awkward guy, Gabe, who goes out on the town with an overzealous friend, Clint. After watching how Clint interacts with the ladies, Gabe dreams up ways to apply Clint’s lessons. One of the dream sequences involves Gabe approaching a very beautiful lady that possesses some traits you would only find on a man. After walking up to her Gabe asks her “Fuck me if I’m wrong, but haven’t we met before?”. At this point the lady responds in a deep Male voice, something about remembering a nice little man pussy like you. I don’t recall the exact line right now. Gabe realizing the beautiful lady is really a man snaps back to reality. That dream sequence end and he moves on. Well, tonight we had our 2^nd round of auditions and someone came out for the drag queen. This guy was A drag queen. He was with another friend who was interested in reading for Gabe so I described both the parts and handed them the script to look over. After reading the script the friend came in to read. Afterwards, I asked if his friend was going to read for the drag queen part. He told us he wasn’t because the description of the drag queen didn’t match. I responded that we are pretty open on the look. He then told us the real reason. This person is widely known for the drag character he plays. When he is in character he doesn’t leave it and takes it seriously. Basically it boils down to the words I wrote offended this guy. I know my sense of humor is offensive to some people. But I have always thought of it as offending people who don’t get me or are way too uptight for me to give a shit. But this time I have offended someone’s lifestyle. I feel extremely embarrassed and shitty right now. Shitty isn’t even a good word to describe it. But I can’t think of anything else right now.
