You are moving to Raleigh huh? I am a native of Phoenix Az. and I feel it only fair to warn you, when you get here do NOT try any of the fake mexican food. If by some chance you do find some, e mail me immediately as I have not found any in the 14 years I have been here. Yes I live 60 miles from Raleigh in the boondocks.There are some good restaurants here but not like you will find in Texas. NC barbeque reminds me of babyfood. You may want to learn to cook. This area is not known for having terrific restaurants. There are a few gems, but for the most part, it’s average or below. And for Carolina BBQ, take a short road trip a bit south of Chapel Hill to (oh, crap! I forgot the name of the place!). I’ll remember it later–ask me when you get moved, I’m sure I’ll remember it then.

LOL you are evil, I am sitting here and it is just about lunch time, my tummy is rumbling, and then you start talking about the best BBQ food, and all yummy…. /cries

Hehe but that is good to hear, I love my food as well. Perhaps you can take some photos of the really yummy stuff as you tick each one off the list.
